FRIDAY'S RESULTS

Softball

Ridgefield 5, Trumbull 1 -- --Katherine Danisi broke the game open for Ridgefield with a grand slam in the sixth inning.

Baseball

Ridgefield 11, Trumbull 2 -- Harrison Siclare banged out four hits and Robert Alicea drove in two runs for the Tigers.

Boys volleyball

Ridgefield 3, Bridgeport Central 1

SATURDAY'S SCHEDULE

Girls lacrosse

Ridgefield 13, Trumbull 5 -- Caroline Ogden and Melissa Galione each scored three goals for the Tigers, who improved to 8-4.

Boys lacrosse

Ridgefield 19, Fairfield Ludlowe 14 -- Matt Hrvatin had a career with five goals and five assists to lead the Tigers, who snapped  a two-game losing streak. Sean Riley also scored five goals for Ridgefield,  which posted a season high in goals.
