In its inaugural Fall Ball season, the Ridgefield Little League Lady Tigers softball team posted a 12-2 record for September and October games.
"Most of the girls in the program have played together since elementary school, so they have developed a great camaraderie," said Steve Westington, RLL travel softball director.
"These girls respect each other as teammates and give 100 percent in each 12U and 14U game we played this fall. Most surprising was the contribution from the 11-year-old players who joined the team."
Ridgefield Little League is dedicated to building character as well as developing the best possible softball players in a fun and enthusiastic environment.
