The girls hockey team coasted to a 7-0 victory over Stamford on Monday afternoon at the Winter Garden Arena.
Meghan Galloway had two goals for the Tigers, who improved to 11-5-1 overall and 7-3 in the FCIAC.

The Ridgefield boys basketball team looks for its 13th win of the season on Tuesday when the Tigers host Trumbull at 7 p.m.
The Tigers rebounded from a 50-39 loss to Stamford with an 81-54 victory over McMahon on Friday. Jeff Racy scored 22 points for Ridgefield, which improved to 12-2 overall and 10-2 in the FCIAC. Seth von Kuhn contributed 15 points and Kurt Steidl added 12 in the victory.
Ridgefield currently holds the second seed in the FCIAC, one-half game better than Bassick and Trinity Catholic, who are 10-3 in conference play.
Trumbull (7-7, 6-6) upset Greenwich 53-52 on Friday to stay in the postseason picture. The Eagles are tied with Fairfield Warde, Stamford and Staples for 10th place, one game out of a playoff spot.
The Ridgefield girls visit defending FCIAC champion Trumbull, which has wrapped up a playoff spot, in a game that starts at 7:15 p.m..
Ridgefield (6-10, 6-8) needs to win two of its final four games to clinch a state tournament berth. The Tigers' remaining conests are against Fairfield Warde, Fairfield Ludlowe and Staples.
Ridgefield is coming off Friday's 65-46 victory over McMahon.
Trumbull (14-2, 12-2), which holds the No. 2 seed, defeated Greenwich 45-34 on Friday, struggling a little more than expected against the Cardinals.
