Ridgefield Vacant Stores Concern

Town leaders are looking for ways to tackle the problem.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Some in town are worried about vacant stores in Ridgefield in the New Year.

There will be four or five vacant spots soon, according to the Ridgefield Press. Recent closures include a gift show, ice cream parlor, liquor store and real estate office.

A hair salon on Roberts Lane is also scheduled to close. Ridgefield is far from the only town with the same problem. New Canaan, Greenwich and Westport are dealing with similar issues.
