Ridgefield's Fourth of July Holiday Weekend Forecast

We'll let you know what the forecast will be this week and most importantly what you can expect this three-day holiday weekend.

And now the sun reappears, of course on a Monday as some of us return back to work. Many of us are on vacation this week.

The latest National Weather Service forecast for the leadup to the three-day holiday weekend looks pretty good, and the latest Fourth of July holiday weekend forecast also looks pretty good. As we know, things can change quickly with weather forecasts.

For Monday, sun and temps in the mid 70s. Tuesday it will be more of the same but temps near 80 with plenty of sunshine.

On Wednesday, we may see some showers and thunderstorms, and already a ‘Hazardous Weather Outlook’ has been issued for Hartford and Tolland counties for the chance of severe weather.

Thursday, the sun reappears as the skies will be partly sunny with a high near 80, more sun on Friday with temps in the high 70s.

For the actual Fourth of July, the forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 80 degrees and more sun on Sunday, July 5 with temps near 80 degrees.

Let’s hope this forecast holds.
