Ridgefield's game against top seed Bethel in the semifinals of the American Legion junior state tournament, scheduled for Friday, has been postponed.
The contest was pushed back until Saturday at 6 p.m. at Danbury High School.
The No. 5 seed, Ridgefield defeated No.4 Bristol 8-4 on Friday to reach the semifinals. It was the 16th consecutive win for Ridgefield (23-7), which won the state championship in 2008.

Friday other semifinal between No. 7 seed Trumbull and No. 3 seed Stamford also was postponed and will be played Saturday at noon at Veterans Field in Windsor Locks.
The championship game is now set for Sunday at 1 p.m. at Muzzy Field in Bristol.

With three zone four teams in the semifinal, an area squad is guaranteed to play for the title.
