Ridgefield's Stormy and Warmer Weekday Forecast

After an amazing holiday weather weekend it’s back to reality starting on Wednesday.

Enjoy the rest of Tuesday as it feels like a summer day with sunny skies and temps in the low to mid 80s.

Beginning tonight the weather changes and there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms off and on beginning Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s on the shoreline and low 80s in interior sections.

On Friday the precipitation stops but skies remain cloudy with temps in the mid 70s on the shoreline to low 80s inland.

But the sun does return for one day on Saturday with sunny skies and temps around 80 degrees. And more showers possible for Sunday.

Ridgefield’s latest hyperlocal National Weather Service forecast:

• Tonight: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Patchy fog after 3am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. South wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Wednesday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. South wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. South wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
• Thursday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Friday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63.
