Second Ridgefield Resident Reports Finding Bullet Hole in Vehicle
Police say that based on the investigation so far it is believed that the incident took place early morning on March 23.

The Ridgefield Police Department received a report from a second resident on Bennetts Farm Road about a possible bullet hole in their vehicle.
After responding officers determined that the resident checked their vehicle after learning about the previous incident reported to police on March 23. Upon inspection, it was determined that the vehicle was struck by a single round while parked unoccupied outside the residence, police said.
According to police, based on the investigation so far it is believed that the incident occurred during the early morning hours of March 23 but was not noticed or reported to police until March 26.

The residence is located on Bennetts Farm Road near the intersection of Bates Farm Road.
The previous residence where two vehicles were found to have been struck by a single round is located near the intersection of Bennetts Farm Road and Old Stagecoach Road.

The Ridgefield Police Department has been conducting extra patrols in the area since the first incident was reported on March 23.
Residents are encouraged to call 203-438-6531 if any suspicious activity is observed.
