Silent Wings Therapeutic Reiki takes new office space in Ridgefield
Formerly White light Healing, Betsy Debany offers zoom and in-person Therapeutic Reiki and has expanded her offerings with Hypnotherapy.
White Light Healing has changed its name to Silent Wings Therapeutic Reiki and taken new office space in Ridgefield. It is located just above Ross Bread now in the Marketplace on Danbury Road. The name change came about because the creator of Silent Wings, Betsy Debany, realized that what she offers in her beautiful, safe space and on zoom is more than a regular Reiki session. "Reiki sessions are sacred and healing in their own right but I incorporate Sound Healing, various therapeutic modalities, guided meditation, and visualization techniques during a session as well as intuitive knowing" said Ms. Debany.
She is Internal Family Systems informed having studied with Dr. Richard Schwartz and utilizes this outstanding therapy modality as well when it's appropriate. She believes that profound healing can be accomplished through gentle practices. Ms. Debany is also now offering Hypnotherapy under the Silent Wings name. Each of these modalities are strong on their own but when combined create an even more powerful session. Every session is customized to the needs and desires of the client.
The Silent Wings method of Reiki has been said to be transformative by clients. Physical, mental and emotional trauma and pain can be worked through very gently and have very deep and lasting positive effects in just a few sessions. Ms. Debany works with clients to move energy that has been stuck in the body and the mind and makes new neural pathways that can be utilized now that the energetic space has been opened and cleared. Some sessions are quiet and peacefully deep while others will incorporate much discussion and interaction.
Ms. Debany is currently studying to become certified as a Hypnotherapist by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists and will have her certification by this fall. She is offering Hypnotherapy sessions at a deeply discounted rate while she completes her studies and her practical hours. A passion of Ms. Debany's is volunteering her Reiki skills with Ann's Place and has been doing so every week for over two years. She absolutely loves the clients she has met there while they go through their cancer experience.
Ms. Debany says "I never stop being surprised by synchronicities in my life and love sharing ideas about this with my clients. There is only love as a true, universal and genuine energy.
