Simpaug Farms CSA and Bailey's Backyard Join to Bring Fresh Produce to Ridgefield Residents

Simpaug Farms CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) works with Bailey's Backyard to bring fresh, local produce beginning on June 7.

Beginning June 7, Simpaug Farms CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) members will receive a weekly shares of seasonal vegetables, herbs, and berries fresh from the farm. Members can choose from a 16-week summer season, or 24-week summer/fall season. Half shares are also available for bi-weekly pick up. Shares will be collected at Bailey's Backyard on Tuesdays from 2-6 pm. Members must pre-register. Shares are still available. All registration details are at www.simpaugfarms.com.

The restaurant features Simpaug Farms produce on the menu, and Chef Forrest Pasternack has even offered to share some of his favorite recipes with CSA members who are ready to test their own farm-to-table cooking skills.

Each share includes an assortment of 5-12 varieties of fresh vegetables, with accompanying herbs, berries, and occasional preserved items from the farm kitchen. Additional products, such as meat and eggs, may be purchased through our online grocery and included in the delivery. Membership also includes a weekly email newsletter with farm updates, recipes, tips for storing and preparing vegetables, and features from our partnering chefs and experts. We will do our best to give you an idea of what is coming each week, but the final contents of your share are determined by our farmers on delivery day.
