Using the latest listings on Zillow.com, here's a look at the five most expensive homes currently for sale in town, from a village center showplace to a onetime songwriter's sanctuary in southwest Ridgefield.
No. 1 on the list is 152 High Ridge Ave., asking $1,995,000. Built in 2006 and tucked just off the village center, the 4,352-square-foot home leans into classical detail: crown moldings, wrought iron bannisters and arched transoms throughout, with antique double doors opening into a soaring foyer. The kitchen pairs Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances with Carrara marble and a large center island, and flows into a great room anchored by a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace.
