Thunderstorm Leads to Power Outages

Update: As of 6 p.m., Eversource is reporting 278 outages in Ridgefield, 24 outages in Wilton, 349 outages in Danbury, 172 outages in Monroe, 42 outages in Newtown and 100 outages in Bethel.

According to the Eversource Outage map, there are currently 244 power outages in Ridgefield.

A power line was down at Ridgebury Road near Old Stagecoach Road, the News TImes reports.

Eversource also reports 65 outages in Newtown, 149 outages in Monroe, 100 outages in Bethel and 291 outages in Danbury.
