Two Arrested for Vandalism At East Ridge Field

Two men were arrested in connection with the vandalism reported at East Ridge Middle School’s football field in July.

John Dumke, 20, of Ridgefield and Cody Dingee, 18, of Cocoa, Fla. were charged with first-degree criminal mischief. Both Dumke and Dingee were processed at police headquarters and released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 11.

According to police, the damage was caused to the football field after a vehicle reportedly drove over it.

A second field in Ridgefield was damaged in early August. The incident is still under investigation.
