Woodcock Nature Center will host its "Under the Harvest Moon" fundraiser at 7-10pm on Saturday, September 9th.

Woodcock Nature Center will host its annual Under the Harvest Moon fundraiser at 7-10pm on Saturday, September 9, in the center's picturesque candlelit pavilion.

Chef Sarah Bouissou of Sarah’s Wine Bar will prepare a locally grown farm-to-table tasting with produce supplied by Millstone Farm, Simpaug Farms, and The Hickories. No. 109 Cheese and Wine will offer a sampling of artisanal cheeses, and Cellar XV and Two Roads Brewery will provide wine and beer. In addition, Nod Hill Brewery will provide tastings of its craft beer.

The event features silent and live auctions for a variety of unique items including tickets to "The Late Show with Steven Colbert" and Woodcock experiences such as glamping in the WNC pavilion, catered dinners from local chefs, and a VIP Wreath Festival package. All proceeds support Woodcock’s environmental education initiatives.
