Police advised of a tall, thin individual, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, who entered cars on Clayton Place and Bridle Trail early Monday
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police are reporting that two vehicles were "rummaged" through" in the early morning hours on Monday, and surveillance video indicates a third car was entered around the same time.
Police advised on Facebook of a tall, thin individual, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, who entered cars on Clayton Place and Bridle rail around 5:06 am. A surveillance video of the Clayton Place near-theft showed two vehicles being entered by the person wanted by the police. That video has since been taken offline.
Nothing was taken from any of the cars, but police are taking the opportunity to remind residents to lock their cars and remove their valuables, even when they are parked in their driveways.
Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity to the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531.
