
AVON, Conn.,. . . Mintz & Hoke Communications Group has promoted Rocky Hill resident Kara Mitchell to the position of senior account executive. In this role, Mitchell takes on more responsibility managing major accounts such as Aetna as well as DRS ARMOR and DRS Tactical Systems.

Mitchell joined Mintz & Hoke in 2008 as an account executive. Before that, Mitchell was marketing director with the Westfield Corporation’s shopping center, The Westfield Connecticut Post in Milford. She spent two-years as an account manger with Decker Advertising in Glastonbury, Conn. and began her career with Keiler &Co. in Farmington, Conn.
