Connecticut Lottery Bringing Back New Year's Super Draw Game
Lottery officials announced the return of the New Year's Super Draw Game on Thursday.

ROCKY HILL, CT — Back by popular demand is the Connecticut Lottery’s “New Year’s $1 Million Super Draw” game, lottery officials said Thursday.
The drawing will be taking place on Jan. 1, 2018, and will feature 1,311 guaranteed cash prizes, lottery officials said.
Ticket sales for the New Year’s $1 Million Super Draw will begin on Sunday, Oct. 15 and this year, the CT Lottery is introducing nine “Early Bird” drawings, lottery officials said. Each drawing will award 10 prizes of $1,000 each, lottery officials said

In total, that’s 90 prizes in Early Bird Drawings.
The weekly Early Bird Drawings consist of a drawing pool of the Connecticut Super Draw tickets sold during the specified time period. lottery officials said. Once an Early Bird ticket number is selected, that ticket number is not eligible for further Early Bird Drawings but is eligible for the New Year’s $1 Million Super Draw, lottery officials said.

Players will need to visit CTLOTTERY.ORG/SUPERDRAW to see if they have won $1,000 Early Bird prizes. All Early Bird Drawing winners must claim their prizes at CT Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill.
