CT Lottery Officials Announce Another Free Ticket Promotion

ROCKY HILL, CT — Starting Sunday and running through Oct. 20, Connecticut Lottery players who buy 5 Mega Millions games (with or without the Megaplier) on a single ticket will receive a free $2 Lucky for Life Quick Pick ticket, lottery officials said.

Players can go to any CT Lottery retailer and participate in the promotion.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday night, with an estimated $420 million jackpot up for grabs. The estimated cash value is $237.1 million.

Mega Millions jackpots start at $40 million and drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday. The overall odds of winning are are 1 in 24 and jackpot odds are 1 in 302,575,350.

Lucky for Life drawings occur every Monday and Thursday with a chance to win a top prize of $1,000 a day for life, and nine other prize levels from $3 up to $25,000 a year for life. Overall odds of winning Lucky for Life are 1 in 7.8, based on a $2 play.
