CT Lottery “Play3 Night” Players Score a Whopping $1,500,000 in Prizes on September 10

Last night’s “Play3 Night” drawing shattered all previous lottery records for the number sequence 4 – 4 – 4 with a prize payout of $1,500,000.

Because payouts in the Play3 Night game are based upon the amount wagered, lucky players who had 4 – 4 – 4 on their Play3 Night tickets for September 10, can expect to win from $250 up to $2,500 per wager in prize money.

Statewide, 3,649 winning wagers were sold and after all winning claims are presented, $1,500,000 in prize money will be paid out by the CT Lottery.

“Coincidentally, the number 4 – 4 – 4 is currently the fourth most commonly played triple digit sequence in the Play3 Night game,” said Diane Patterson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the CT Lottery.  “It’s an exciting event at the lottery when a triple single digit is drawn in the Play3 game, because so many people are particularly fond of playing them.”

Though the bulk of winners will most likely redeem their tickets in the next few days, players with winning tickets have 180-days from the date of draw to collect their winnings.  High-Tier Claim Centers are able to cash CT Lottery prizes up to $5,000.
