Dinosaur State Park Offering Vacation Week Programs
Dinosaur State Park Vacation programs are scheduled for April 12 through 17 and April 19 through 24.

ROCKY HILL - The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced Thursday that Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill will sponsor a series of programs for families during April school vacation week.
The programs are scheduled for April 12 through 17 and April 19 through 24.
Daily Programs include:

Films at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

An animal program: at 11 a.m.
A track Talk at 11:30 a.m.
Nature walks or Animal Programs at 1 and 2:30 p.m.
Crafts from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In the Mining for Gems and Fossils program, for an extra fee, visitors can “mine” for gems and/or fossils at an outdoor mining center.
A variety of special programs will also be offered.
All special programs are included with admission. Adults (13 and up) are $6, youth (6-12) are $2 and children younger than 6 are free.
