ROCKY HILL, CT — No one was hurt, but local firefighters were scrambled in the wee hours Sunday to battle a blaze inside a local nursing home.

According to the Rocky Hill Fire Department, at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 856 Maple St. at the Maple View Manor nursing home for a fire alarm activation.

Whey they showed up, however, firefighters discovered a smoke condition in the kitchen area and there was no "known immediate source," the RHFD said in a social media post.
