Rocky Hill Cops Arrest Suspected Burglars After Citizen Alert
They are facing several charges.

ROCKY HILL, CT — Police said they nabbed suspected burglars over the weekend with the help of a citizen alert.
The scene unfolded on Saturday at about 5 a.m., when a a resident called police dispatch about a male wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt running from a parked vehicle along the 600 block of Elm Street, police said.
The caller reported a suspicious vehicle driving slowly on neighboring streets, police said.

RHPD officers located the vehicle on Webster Road, according to a police report. Two men were inside, and numerous GPS units, cell phones and laptops were plainly visible, police said.
The two men were identified as Delton Desouza, 19, of South Main Street, Waterbury and Malachi Johnson, 18, of Sharon Road, Waterbury. They were arrested for fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, possession of burglary tools, marijuana possession, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with several motor vehicle charges, police said.

Numerous items were recovered which are believed to have been stolen, including GPS devices, cell phones, laptop computers, wallets, credit cards and knives, police said.
Officers were successful in locating owners of some of these items and confirmed that they had been stolen from their parked vehicles, according to a report.
A juvenile was also arrested, police said.
