I am pleased to announce that Frank Kelley has been promoted to the rank of Captain in the Rocky Hill Fire Department. His responsibilities are as follows:
~ Deputy Fire Marshall
~ Public Relations Officer (PRO)
~ Safety Officer at drills and fire calls
Franks is a 29 year veteran of the Fire Department serving at Company 1 located on Old Main Street. Frank has two sons, Bill and Ed, who are also Firefighters serving at Company 1.
Besides being a tremendous asset to the Department, he, and his sons, are fantastic cooks. When they are the Station 1 stewards on the first Tuesday of the month, you are guaranteed an excellent meal.
All the members of the Fire Department and Fire Police offer our congratulations to Frank. We wish him well as he assumes his new responsibilities and congratulate him on his promotion to Captain.
