Rocky Hill Man Charged in Connection to Theft of More Than $600K Worth of Metal from Wallingford Business: Report

The arrest stems from a months-long investigation after thousands of pounds of metal, including titanium, were "systematically" stolen.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Rocky Hill man was arrested in connection to the theft of more than $600,000 worth of metal, including titanium, that was “systematically” stolen from a Wallingford business over the course of a few months, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports Nicola Carlone, 49, was recently arrested on a warrant following an investigation that began in May when a manager of Snappy Materials, located at 34B Barnes Industrial Road South, reported that several thousand pounds of metal were stolen from the business.

Carlone was the manager of All Metals Industries, which shares a warehouse with Snappy Materials, and is accused of selling metal that was stolen from Snappy Materials to a scrap yard, according to the Record-Journal.
