Now, both ferries across the Connecticut River will be in service. The Chester-Hadlyme Ferry began operations last month. As a result of high water level and mechanical issues, the opening of the Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Ferry was delayed. Both ferries will operate until Nov. 30. Pedestrians, cyclists, and automobiles are welcome on both ferries.
