Skeletal Remains Recovered from Hartford Home
The remains were reportedly taken from a cemetery in Massachusetts.

Police are investigating after skeletal remains were recovered from a home in Hartford.
According to police, officers responded to the report of stored human remains at a home on Preston Street just after 3 p.m. on Friday. Officers made contact with the tenant, Amador Medina, 32, who was cooperative and showed police where the skeletal remains were located.
The Hartford Courant reports, the skeletal remains recovered were from five bodies taken from a cemetery in Worcester, Mass.

Major Crimes Division was notified of the incident and took over the investigation. A Superior Court judge authorized a search and seizure warrant, police said.
The Crime Scene Division responded and assisted with the search, processing and recovery of skeletal remains. MCD continues to investigate along with the State’s Attorney.

Medina was taken into custody and charged as a fugitive from justice from Massachusetts.
