Thief Smashes His Way Through a Dunkin' Donuts Drive-Up Window in Rocky Hill
Police are searching for the bandit.
ROCKY HILL, CT - Rocky Hill police are searching for a bandit who boldly smashed his way through a Dunkin' Donuts drive-up window, stole a cash drawer and sped away from the scene with a buddy.
The incident took place on Monday at 10:04 p.m. as the store at 1969 Silas Deane Highway was closing, police said.
The suspects had fled the scene in a white four-door sedan, police were told.

Security footage shows that the driver had exited the vehicle at the drive-up window, smashed the glass and climbed into the store.
The footage also shows him smashing the cash register, taking the cash drawer and tossing it outside before climbing back outside and fleeing the scene.

Police said employees reported seeing a gun in the hand of the passenger of the vehicle, but that has not been confirmed.
Evidence collected at the scene may lead to an identification of the suspect who climbed into the store, police said.
