• A Connecticut Couple Is Fighting for the Right To Let People Hike on Their Land (reason.com) — A Roxbury couple is challenging town officials over whether they can charge a small hourly fee for hikers to use trails they built on their 50-acre property. After conflicting guidance and a warning letter about “operating a dog park,” they’ve enlisted a public-interest law firm to press Roxbury to cite a specific ordinance or allow the hiking access to resume this fall.
