Southbury’s beloved Blues Café returns on Sunday, October 4 with an intimate co‑bill featuring acclaimed singer‑songwriters Meghan Cary and Shanna in a Dress. Held at the George Newton VFW Hall (150 Lee Farm Drive), the afternoon begins with a community potluck at 1 PM, followed by Hilltop Dawgs & Friends from 1:15–2:30 PM. The main performance starts at 3 PM. This volunteer-run series is known for its warm, up‑close listening room and its commitment to supporting independent artists — all net proceeds go directly to the musicians.
