SHELTON, CT — One of two major COVID-19 vaccination sites in Shelton will open Monday, News 12 reported. People lined up outside of the Griffin Health building on Progress Drive early Monday morning.

The other site is at the Hartford HealthCare building on Research Drive. The two sites combined are expected to vaccinate 1,200 people a day, according to News 12.

Connecticut is currently in Phase 1b of vaccine distribution, meaning only residents 75 years and older are eligible. Go to the state's website for more information.
