$3 Million Athletic Complex Eyed for Derby High School: Report
The state is considering funding a grant for the initiative.

DERBY, CT — Derby High School could be in line for $3 million in state funding to build a new athletic field and running track, reports the Connecticut Post.
The project would be funded by a grant from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, which needs approval from the state Bond Commission to move forward. The commission is scheduled to vote on the measure at the end of the week.
Included in the project is also a new baseball field near Kings Court, according to the publication.
