SHELTON, CT — A dump truck carrying asphalt rolled over Thursday morning in Shelton, closing a road for nearly two hours, according to the Shelton Fire Department.
In an email to Patch, Deputy Chief Paul Wilson said a tri-axle dump truck hauling asphalt tumbled onto its side just before 9 a.m. on Soundview Avenue.
No injuries were reported, according to Wilson.
Wilson also noted the road was closed for nearly two hours as crews worked to right the dump truck and remove the asphalt from the roadway.
