Aquarion Gives Restoration Estimate for Shelton Residents Without Water
A water main break occurred along Bridgeport Avenue causing 30 Shelton residents to be without water.
A water main break was reported to Aquarion Water Company shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday along Bridgeport Avenue.
Pumpkin Preschool on Beard Sawmill Road is closed for the day and about 30 customers in the area are without water due to the water main break.
The estimated restoration time is between 3-5 p.m.

- Beard Sawmill Rd
- Saw Mill City Rd
- Old Stratford Rd
During and after the outage, some customers may experience discolored water. Aquarion recommends using stored or bottled water for drinking and cooking, and to delay washing clothing until water is clear. Run the cold water faucet until the water appears clear prior to resuming use for these purposes.
