[UPDATED] Some Shelton Residents Without Water Due to Water Main Break
A water main break has occurred along Bridgeport Avenue near Long Hill Cross Road and some local residents are without water.
A water main break was reported to Aquarion Water Company shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday. The break occurred along Bridgeport Avenue near Long Hill Cross Road, according to WFSB.
Pumpkin Preschool on Beard Sawmill Road is closed for the day and about 30 customers in the area are without water due to the water main break. There is no estimate on completion of repairs.
Customers in the area may see discolored water coming from their faucets and are advised to avoid drinking or cooking with the water until the it runs clear.
