Arrest Made In DUI Griffin Hospital ER Crash: PD
A man more than four times the legal limit was arrested for the 2018 crash, police said.
DERBY, CT — A Waterbury man was arrested on a warrant after a DUI crash into the Griffin Hospital ER room in June, according to police.
Stewart Paskiewich, 51, turned himself in on Dec. 26 and was charged with DUI. His BAC was .365 shortly after the crash, police said.
Paskiewich's vehicle slammed into the emergency room waiting area shortly after 2 a.m. on Jun 1, 2018. Paskiewich struck an unoccupied vehicle on Division Street and then careened into the ER waiting room. He sustained minor injuries.
