Arrests Made After $250k Worth Of Comics Stolen: Shelton PD
Police managed to recover the comics and track down others that had been sold.
SHELTON, CT — Three people were arrested Tuesday after $250,000 worth of comic books were stolen in Shelton, according to police.
More than 500 rare collectible comic books were stolen from a Shelton storage unit. Police began investigating July 25 after getting a complaint about the theft.
Some of the comics were sold to a New Haven store by three men, said Detective Richard Bango, police spokesman. The rest of the comics were recovered.

James Wadsworth Sr., 49, and James Wadsworth Jr., 30, of Ansonia along with Saul Salazar, 32, of Shelton were arrested and charged with first-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny. Each was held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
