Bring the Hoopla Hula Hoop Shop Coming to Shelton Sept. 4

Shelton, CT, August 29, 2014 -- Bring the Hoopla LLC, an educational hula hoop business, is opening a retail location, Hoopla Shop, at 415 Howe Avenue, Suite 191 in Shelton. The official Ribbon Cutting is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 4th with bringtheHoopla owner, Nicole Heriot-Mikula and Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce president, Bill Purcell. The Grand Opening Celebration will go from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm and will feature hoop performances, mini-hoop workshops, giveaways, special offers, light refreshments and more.

Other friends and local businesses who will be at the opening include: Free face painting with CrazyFunFace painting & Body Art; Drum Circle with Circles of Love; Free Italian Ice from Addeo’s Italian Ice; Free Massages with Tricia Chitwood LMT; Tom Weber Children’s Music; Sarotonin Flow Performance Art; Sacred Mystery Arts; Jessica Smalley Photographs Everything. In addition, The Glass Source will be offering an open studio Slump Vase Workshop from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. bringtheHoopla brings the fun back into fitness through enrichment/afterschool programming, birthday parties, children’s hoop classes and adult fitness classes. They custom design and hand-make each hoop with love. They will also be having monthly community events and ladies Nights as well as Make-Your-Own-Hoop parties. Business Hours are Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays 11:00am – 3:00pm. All other times are open by appointment only or during scheduled events. Hours may expand during the Holiday Season.
