Clock Ticking on Shelton P&Z's Decision on Shelter Ridge Development Proposal

Some residents oppose the plan due to its density and other factors.

SHELTON, CT — The Shelton Planning and Zoning Commission is set to begin deliberations next month on whether to finally approve or turn down the proposed Shelter Ridge development complex, reports the Shelton Herald.

The proposal, which some residents have opposed due to its density and other factors, calls for the creation of an apartment building with more than 400 units and other developments on a 120-plus-acre on Bridgeport Avenue.

Commissioners are slated to start deliberations on the proposal on Oct. 11, according to the publication.
