Coronavirus Deaths Above 100 In Naugatuck Valley

SHELTON, CT — Shelton nursing homes continue to be hit hard by the new coronavirus There are 914 lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in the Naugatuck Valley as of Friday. Around 28 percent of the cases are residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and other similar living arrangements, according to the Naugatuck Valley Health District.

The Valley has also had 94 lab-confirmed COVID-19 associated deaths and 15 probable COVID-19 deaths; 82 of the deaths are connected to nursing homes or assisted living residents.
