Coronavirus Hits Shelton Nursing Homes Hard
Four Shelton nursing homes have a combined 108 coronavirus cases and 40 deaths among residents.
SHELTON, CT — Four Shelton nursing homes have confirmed coronavirus cases, according to new data released by the state. Combined the four facilities have had 108 cases and 40 deaths.
Apple Shelton Lakes has 40 confirmed cases and 13 deaths. The facility has 106 licensed beds. Bishop-Wicke Health and Rehabilitation has 22 cases and 12 deaths in the 120-bed facility.
Gardner Heights Health Care Center has 42 cases and 15 deaths in its 130-bed facility.

Hewitt Health and Rehabilitation Center has four cases and no deaths. The facility has 160 beds.
Shelton overhaul has had 293 coronavirus cases and 53 deaths as of Thursday, according to the Naugatuck Valley Health District.
