Density Questioned In Proposed Shelton Development
The plan for Bridgeport Avenue is already opposed by some residents.

SHELTON, CT — Members of the Shelton Planning and Zoning Commission Wednesday indicated during a public hearing that a proposed development on Bridgeport Avenue and Long Hill Cross Road is too dense in its current form, reports the Shelton Herald.
Plans call for a mixed-use development on close to 18 acres, which would include a hotel, apartments, restaurants and commercial space. The plan is already opposed by some residents.
Commissioners suggested the apartment component should be scrapped, in addition to some commercial space. The project will be discussed again next month.
