The Connecticut Health I-Team Editor Kate Farrish reports that a total of four nurses had their licenses revoked and eight others were disciplined this week by the State Board of Examiners for Nursing.
One of the nurses disciplined was an RN from Derby, Leslie Matejek, who had her license revoked after multiple positive tests for cocaine in 2015, according to the report.

According to C-HIT, Matejek's license had been placed on four-years probation in 2010 after she admitted to falsifying an Oxycontin prescription. But that probationary period was extended into 2016 after she tested positive multiple times for oxycodone, Farrish writes.
