Derby's 'Haunted Lanterns Tour' Set for Saturday

The annual event is organized by the Derby Cultural Commission, and a children's Halloween Party is also scheduled for Sunday.

DERBY, CT — Derby's annual "Haunted Lanterns Tour" is scheduled for Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. starting at the Derby Green, according to the city's Cultural Commission.

The tour features a look at Derby's history and ends at the historic Sterling Opera House. The rain date for the event is November 5.

Cost for the tour is $5, and the commission warns that it may not be suitable for children so parental discretion is advised.

Additionally, there is also a children's Halloween party on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Derby Green.
