Ed Hunt Wins 100th Career Match For Shelton Wresling Team

Shelton's Ed Hunt won his 100th career match as the Shelton wrestling team went 2-2 during a dual meet Friday.

The Gaels earned wins against New Haven (66-16) and Plainville (52-24) while losing to Norwich Free Academy (42-28) and Simsbury (45-29)

Mark Failla (Sr-106), Sean Kellett (Sr, 126), Hunt (Sr, 132) and Mac Thompson (Jr, 182) all went 4-0 for the Gaels, who are now 4-2 on the season.

Failla (9-0) and Hunt (10-0) remain undefeated. Hunt recorded his milestone victory vs. Plainfield.
