Former Derby Police Chief Relishes Author Role
Andrew L. Cota Jr. has written a pair of books.

DERBY, CT - These days, retired Derby Police Chief Andrew L. Cota Jr. relishes his role new role as self-published book author, in part because he has not taken the usual former-cop-writes-crime-novels approach.
He tells the Connecticut Post that writing about the human condition and why people do the things they do is more meaningful to him.
His two books, the novel "Whitestone" and non-fiction book "Through the Lens of an Old Man," are both available on Amazon, and he will hold book discussions at the Ansonia and Derby public libraries on April 28 and May 23, respectively.
