Fund to Help Murdered Shelton Woman's Family Set Up

Lisa Infante was allegedly shot and killed by her husband Sunday.

A fund has been establish to help the family of a Shelton woman who was killed Sunday night.

According to an article in the Connecticut Post, a GoFundMe account has been set up for Lisa Infante’s four children. It hopes to raise $10,000.

The 52-year-old woman’s body was found around 9:30 p.m. at a home on Hickory Lane, police said.

Infante’s husband, Thomas Infante, who she was in the process of divorcing, allegedly shot and killed her. He fled from the scene but turned himself in Monday, according to Shelton police.

Bond for Thomas Infante, 53, has been set at $1.5 million. His case was continued to Oct. 8.

The Infantes’ four children range in age from 14 to 20. Vinnie Infante, the oldest, is a chief petty officer in the Navy, the Post said.
