No Opponent For Shelton Mayor Lauretti

SHELTON, CT — Democrats declined to nominate an opponent for Mayor Mark Lauretti who is running for his 14th term in office while also seeking the Republican gubernatorial nomination.

Democrats said they will focus their efforts on smaller races in town, according to the Shelton Herald.

First Ward Alderman John Finn announced he would not seek re-election after 32 years.
