Nor'easter Impact Leads to Delayed School Opening for Shelton Public Schools

BREAKING: A significant storm led to numerous school districts to cancel classes Tuesday.

A major Nor'easter moved through Connecticut dropping a lot more ice than anticipated on areas away from the coast, which led to significant power outages and school closings in several towns.

Schools that were closed include: Ridgefield, Monroe, Newtown, Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, New Milford, Naugatuck, Southbury, Oxford.

Trumbull and Shelton Public Schools have a two hour delay.
