Pre-Trial Hearing Scheduled in Thomas Infante Murder Case

Infante, of Shelton, is charged with shooting his wife, Lisa Infante, to death in September 2015.

SHELTON, CT - A pre-trial hearing is set for June 1 in the Shelton murder case of Thomas Infante Jr., according to court documents.

Infante Jr., 53, is charged in the shooting death of his wife, Lisa Infante, 52, at their Hickory Lane home in September 2015. Shelton police have said that Infante told them he "just snapped" when he is alleged to have committed the crime. He has pleaded not guilty.

According to police, Infante Jr. was in a blood-stained t-shirt when he turned himself in at Shelton police headquarters a day after he is alleged to have shot his wife. The two were going to file for a divorce, police added.

Infante Jr. remains in custody on a $1.5 million bond.
