Search Is On For Owner Of Cat Rescued In Shelton
The feline was rescued Wednesday night.

SHELTON, CT — Members of the Connecticut Emergency Animal Response Service rescued a cat in Shelton Wednesday night, and the group posted to its Facebook page that it believes the feline might have wondered off from its home.
The friendly and approachable cat lacks a microchip, but it appears to have been well-fed and in good health, according to EARSCT.
"This morning we transported him over to the City of Shelton Animal Shelter in hopes that if it is a missing cat, they might be able to reunite it with its owners," officials wrote.
